Tytti Erästö is the Roger L. Hale fellow at Ploughshares Fund, Washington D.C.
She received her PhD in International Relations from the University of Tampere, Finland in 2013. Erästö is a former Stanton nuclear security fellow and research fellow in the Managing the Atom / International Security Research programs at Harvard’s Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, and a visiting fellow at the Vienna Centre for Disarmament and Non-Proliferation, VCDNP.
She has worked as nuclear arms control expert at the SaferGlobe research network, Finland, and researcher at the Tampere Peace Research Institute, Finland. She is the editor-in-chief of Kosmopolis, Finnish Journal of Peace and Conflict Research and World Politics.
