He holds a Master’s degrees in military management and international relations; PhD degree in pol-mil sciences (2008). Associate research fellow, Foreign Policy Research Institute (FPRI) of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2012-2015); Military advisor of the Ukrainian Delegation to the OSCE, Permanent Mission of Ukraine to the International Organizations in Vienna, Austria (2002-2006); Member of the Public Council at the MFA of Ukraine (2012-2014); Active participant of the projects being implemented within the OSCE Network of Think Tanks and Academic Institutions; Adviser (not on the permanent staff) to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2007-2008); Deputy Director, Department of International Relations, State Space Agency of Ukraine (2009-2011); Counsellor, OSCE Division, Department of the UN and other international organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (2011).
Author of more than 40 scientific articles and over 100 analytical notes and policy briefs, co-author of 10 applied scientific researches on national and European security issues with the focus on implementing obligations related to the OSCE commitments, arms control issues, interaction between international organizations and non-governmental actors, implementing Track II initiatives.
