Nona Mikhelidze, Senior Fellow at the Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI) in Rome, holds a PhD in Political Science from Scuola normale superiore (Pisa), and a M.A. in Regionalism: Central Asia and Caucasian Studies from the Humboldt University Berlin (HU). From 2017 to 2020 she was Head of the Eastern Europe and Eurasia Programme. Since 2020 she writes for the newspaper La Stampa on Russia and the post-Soviet space. Her research interests include the European Neighbourhood Policy, conflict resolution in the Eastern Europe, Russian foreign policy in the post-Soviet space.
