Martin is an entrepreneur and strategist. He is the founder and Chairman of Salamanca Group. The Group’s activities include Real Estate, Infrastructure and Power, with a particular focus on AI-related infrastructure, and are behind some of the largest projects in the UK.
Martin is the founder of the Clean Growth Leadership Network and is on the board of the European Leadership Network, a network focused on pan-European security. He is Chair of the Thames Freeport Advisory Board, overseeing the master planning and financing of Europe’s largest redevelopment project. Moreover, he is an Advisor to Blackstone on their AI Campus in Blyth, Northumberland.
Martin is also the founder of Pathfinder AI, a business dedicated to AI Infrastructure and is the Director of the Gravity site in Somerset and Wildfox Resorts, located in the Afan Valley.
Martin attended the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and has an MBA from Reading University. In 1997 is rowed the Atlantic in a boat named Salamanca.
