Marilia Koroleva is a consultant at the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs.
Mariia holds a Master’s degree in Strategic and Arms Control studies. She previously earned a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at St. Petersburg State University and studied political science as an exchange student at the University of Bologna.
Her main interests are in the areas of Biological Weapons Convention, biosecurity and biosafety, outreach and communication strategies in arms control and disarmament.
In addition to her native Russian, Mariia is fluent in English and has a working knowledge of Italian and French.
