Kim Westerich-Fellner

Postdocoral researcher at Forschungszentrum Juelich and former Mercator Fellow on International Relations

Kim Joana Westerich-Fellner is a postdoctoral researcher at Forschungszentrum Juelich, Germany, specializing in nuclear disarmament verification. She is also a member of the VeSPoTec research consortium. Previously, she served as a Mercator Fellow on International Affairs, during which she contributed to the European Council on Foreign Relations, the James Martin Center for Nonproliferation Studies (United States), and Forschungszentrum Juelich (Germany), focusing on nuclear disarmament, verification, and conventional arms control.

Kim has a PhD in Molecular Biology. She earned her doctorate at the University of Münster and conducted research stays in New York, Cambridge and at the Max Planck Institute.
