Kévin Thiévon is part of the POLAD team at the NATO Mission in Iraq, and serves as the political advisor for France’s mission in the Operation Inherent Resolve (OIR). He has previously worked as a researcher in a British think tank, the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), focusing on Maritime Security, Iranian foreign policy and Eastern Mediterranean issues. He also served as aide-de-camp to the Captain on the French aircraft carrier Charles de Gaulle and has lived in Egypt, Bahrain, and Iraq. Kévin holds an MSc in Strategy from Edhec Business School and an MA in International Relations from King’s College London.
