Harrison Samphir is the Commissioning Editor at the European Leadership Network (ELN), responsible for managing the communication of the ELN’s policy positions and research, and commissioning publications and articles on topical issues related to multilateral arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation, and Russia-West relations.
He has held senior editorial roles across a range of digital and print publications, with a career spanning journalism, publishing, and policy communications. Prior to joining ELN, Harrison worked as a Senior Policy Analyst in the Government of Canada, where he contributed to major initiatives including the Afghan Resettlement Initiative, which facilitated the arrival of more than 50,000 Afghan refugees to Canada.
Harrison holds an MA in International Relations from the University of Sussex and a BA in History from the University of Manitoba.
