Dr Tatiana Romanova is an Associate Professor in International Relations at St. Petersburg State University and the Higher School of Economics. She is also Jean Monnet Chair at Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence. Romanova holds a PhD from St. Petersburg State University and an MA in Politics and Administration from the College of Europe.
Her research interests are EU-Russian economics, legal and political relations, normative competition, soft power/normative power, resilience, legal approximation, sanctions, energy transition and EU-Russian climate cooperation, energy markets and security, Russian foreign policy, EU institutions and decision-making.
