David Cadier is a Researcher at the Centre for International Studies (CERI) at Sciences Po, Paris. He is also an Adjunct Lecturer at Sciences Po’s School of International Affairs (PSIA) and an Associate at LSE IDEAS, the foreign policy think tank of the London School of Economics (LSE).
Previously, he was a teaching Fellow in International Strategy and Diplomacy at the LSE (2012-2015). He has also held visiting positions at, inter alia, the Fletcher School of Diplomacy, SAIS Johns Hopkins University, the Finnish Institute of International Affairs and the Polish Institute of International Affairs.
David works mainly on EU-Russia relations, Central and Eastern Europe, European security, and Foreign Policy Analysis. He has published articles on these topics in journals or outlets such as International Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Global Policy or Le Monde. He is also the co-editor of Russia’s foreign policy: ideas, domestic politics and external relations (Palgrave, 2015).
At CERI-Sciences Po, David currently coordinates an EU-funded research project on Europe’s policies towards contested orders and areas of limited orders in its neighborhoods (EULISTCO).
