Professor Alexander Dynkin is the Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) at the Russian Academy of Science. He is a member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Russian Foreign Minister’s Scientific Council, the Presidium of the Presidential Council for Science and Education, and the Advisory Board of the Russian Security Council.
Professor Dynkin served as the economic adviser to the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation between 1998-1999. Prior to this, he was a visiting professor and lecturer at Georgetown University. He holds a PhD in Economics.
