The European Leadership Network regularly hosts and participates in timely, policy-relevant events. These range from private seminars with policymakers to larger conferences to inform and shape policy.

Join the ELN at the 2024 PrepCom for two side events tackling the role and salience of nuclear weapons and guardrails for emerging and disruptive technologies
On 10th-11th April 2024, the ELN convened a group of diverse experts for a workshop at the German Federal Foreign Office to consider the core ingredients of a guardrails and checklist framework that will help policymakers anticipate and address challenges arising from Emerging and Disruptive Technologies (EDTs) and their aggregate effects on nuclear command, control, and communications (NC3) and nuclear weapons decision-making.
The VCDNP and the European Leadership Network (ELN) hosted a public hybrid event on the ELN report “AI and nuclear command, control and communications: P5 perspectives” to explore the risks of AI in nuclear decision-making.
